Sea La Vie was born from Susan's love for the British Virgin Islands and the exotic ocean life she experiences with each trip. Sea fans are a natural living coral type being that lives in the warmer waters of the western Atlantic ocean including the Caribbean. During her trips to Tortola and other BVI islands, Susan dives down and finds sea fans that have naturally broken off from their bases. She then brings them home and dries them out for framing. Working with her highly skilled framer, they collaborate on the right mat and frame to compliment each unique fan.
